SJP's Advice (or lack there of)

Actress AnnaSophia Robb is no stranger when it comes to acting, having appeared in such box office films like the remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Race to Witch Mountain. This season on the CW, however, the up-and-coming actress will be making her way to the small screen in a show that is sure to be a hit. Robb has been cast to portray a young Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City prequel The Carrie Diaries.

Robb has some big shoes to fill, following behind the original Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker. A role that would gain Parker enormous fame, if Robb lives up to the original Carrie Bradshaw, the show is sure to be a success.

And does Parker have any advice for the young actress?

"I would never give advice. No, no, no. It's like someone giving romance advice or parenting advice. It's such a unique experience, playing a part and I'm sure they found someone wonderful. I'm sure it will be [fun to watch], definitely. I think it's wonderful that people want to hear Carrie's story, and I understand. Peter Roth, [President of Warner Bros. TV] is smart and wonderful and funny and I'm sure it will be in excellent hands."

And there you have it, direct from Carrie Bradshaw herself. The Carrie Diaries will première midseason on CW.
