LIVING LARGE IN THE BRIX AT 26

My first thoughts when I walked into the brand new apartment complex in the Southside was…am I still in Pittsburgh? The cool, calm colors of blue, green, and orange filled the lobby and gave off a warm, welcome feeling.  The Brix apartments have been open less than a year, but the 87 apartments are filling up quite fast.

The lobby alone has multiple seating sections, but that’s not all it has to offer. In addition there is a social lounge with a bar, a gorgeous outdoor patio with sleek and modern fireplace; perfect for residents to wake up and enjoy their morning coffee. But it doesn’t stop there. The building also has an unbelievable and enviable rooftop terrace, and many of the apartments have their own balconies as well.

I bet you could guess what my favorite part of the building was….the gigantic walk-in closets! This is every girl’s dream and it keeps getting better and better. Modern bathrooms, spacious bedrooms, and a cook-lover’s ideal kitchen with outstanding new appliances, dark cabinets, and granite countertops of course.

They have track lighting, engineered designer flooring, water and sewage, huge windows with breathtaking city views, and residents have a wide range of options to choose from: one or two bedrooms, one or two baths, studios, and fabulous two-story lofts.

The rooms include a washer and drier, 9’ to 15’9” high ceilings, and a parking garage, which is separate from the monthly rent payment.

The amenities don’t stop there. As soon as you step outside of your place, you’re into the lively Southside atmosphere and everything you need is a short walk away. A variety of bars and restaurants, shops and live performances, grocery stores, and LA fitness! Residents are more than welcome to use the Brix’s own virtual fitness center, however.

I loved these apartments so much that I booked an appointment to tour, once again, and apply to live there! I recommend taking a visit, because once you step inside those double doors, you won’t want to leave.
