Scott Recalls 2,000 Speedster Bikes

Scott is recalling about 2,000 “Speedster Bicycles” because part of the steering mechanism can break, which poses a risk of falling.

The recall affects both men’s and women’s road “Speedster 30″ bikes made in 2014.

The bikes were sold at stores across the country — and onlineicon1 Scott Recalls 2,000 Speedster Bikes — from August 2013 through May 2014.

No one has been hurt because of the problem, but the companyicon1 Scott Recalls 2,000 Speedster Bikes says people who own those bikes should stop using them and contact a dealer for a free replacement part.
