Spin in the Square to Stop Diabetes

Join us to cycle/spin in Market Square as a brand new partnership with the American Diabetes Association, YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh and Cycling Fusion kicks off on September 19th! 50 bikes will be set up in Market Square to virtually transports 50 cyclists to Maui during this world premiere of Cycling Fusion's brand new video "Maui Madness: Speed Thrills". The ride starts at 8:00pm and will end around 9:30pm. You can sign up to ride the entire 90 minute ride, or there are both 60 minute and 30 minute options.  Beginners are recommended to choose the 30 minute option.  After the ride, enjoy your favorite "recovery drink" at the after-party being held at the Diamond Market in Market Square.  Riders can change and/or shower at the adjacent PNC YMCA (entrance on 5th avenue).

100% of this event's registration fee will be applied to your 2015 Tour de Cure fundraising minimums!  The Tour de Cure is the American Diabetes Association's exclusive fundraising cycling event!  It's day full of fun and excitement where riders of all levels join forces in the fight to Stop Diabetes® and raise critical funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy. The Pittsburgh Tour will be held on May 17, 2015 at Seneca Valley High School!

 

This event also presents a training opportunity for Tour de Cure participants.  This January, Cycling Fusion will conduct a 12 week training program at one of the designated YMCA's (official training centers) to help beginner to advanced riders prepare for the 2015 Tour De Cure. Those participating in this program are guaranteed to be able to ride any of the distances offered in the 2015 Tour De Cure.
