MADtv series will be returning on the CW!

The CW network is excited to announce the return of the Emmy Award-winning sketch comedy series MADtv!  The eight brand-new one-hour episodes will continue to bring their signature pop-culture parodies and politically incorrect humor.  The new series will not only star up-and-coming new comedy voices but will also feature special appearances from returning cast members of the original series as hosts of each episode.

MADtv was known for its signature characters, celebrity impersonations and on-the-edge pop-culture spoofs.  The show also featured hundreds of guest stars and musical acts.  In addition, many of today's famous comedians got their start on MADtv, including Key & Peele'sKeegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, Sleepy Hollow's Orlando Jones, The Big Bang Theory's Simon Helberg, The Mindy Project's Ike Barinholtz, Alex Borstein of Family Guy and many more.  The CW recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of MADtv with a reunion special of highlights from the original series and new material featuring 19 returning series alumni.

This long-running series aired more than 300 episodes in 14 seasons, and classic episodes from the show's original late-night run are currently available to stream on CW Seed, The CW's digital network.  The series is produced by Telepictures, along with executive producers David E. Salzman, Mark Teitelbaum, and John Montgomery.
