Not only is pumpkin a great fall seasonal dish, but it is healthy, too. Pumpkin contains fiber and antioxidant vitamins A, C and E as well as mono-unsaturated fatty acids, which are great for heart health. This smooth and flavorful vegetable is not only great in sweet dishes, such as pumpkin pie, but also used in many savory foods. These are the city’s best pumpkin dishes to try when you are out and about in Pittsburgh.

Though it may be cheating a little to use sage in an already-savory dish, that cream sauce just sends this one over the top.
