Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland in the "Power of Pink Challenge" at Panera
Pittsburgh leads Cleveland 23,539 to 18,687 bagels sold in week one of the
"Power of Pink Challenge", but we still have three more weeks and much to do.
The city who purchases the most Pink Ribbon Bagels in the month of October will receive an additional $10,000 charity donation from Panera Bread corporate on top of what the bagel sale raises. Last year we raised $25,000.
We have teamed up with the Young Women's Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation, the City of Pittsburgh and Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and retired Pittsburgh Steeler Chis Hoke to help raise the most in the City of Pittsburgh for the Patient Navigator Program at Magee-Womens Hospital. Pink Ribbon Bagel proceeds will be donated to the Young Women's Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation benefiting the Women's Cancer Patient Navigator Program at Magee-Womens Hospital which provides women with cancer the resources and support they need to help them and their families through this very trying time.
