The Carrie Diaries Features Sex and the City Similarities

The creators of "The Carrie Diaries" have made it clear that the show is not meant to be a mini version of the classic show "Sex and the City." But as season one of "The Carrie Diaries" came to an end last Monday, we noticed several subtle callbacks to the original series.

First, both the teenage and the 30(ish)-year-old Carrie write by the window. They both tend to drop everything, literally, when they bump into a new boyfriend. They are both obsessed with Manolo Blahniks, and they are both pretty coordinated when it comes to running in them. Kudos, Carries!

Needless to say, we will be on the lookout for more Carrie-isms. And be sure to vote for a second season of "The Carrie Diaries" here!.
