2014 spring/summer bridal fashion week took place the week of April 15 in New York City , where top designers like Vera Wang, Oscar de la Renta and Monique Lhuillier introduced their latest collections to a world of planning brides-to-be.

Among those brides are a plethora of singers rocking engagement rings: Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus, Adele and Brandy to name a few.

After plowing through the latest looks, we've matched up the ladies to the gowns we'd like to see them march down the aisle in.

1. Avril Lavigne - Vera Wang - Mermaid Gown

Vera Wang's looks this season were much edgier than usual, making it perfect for a punk rock spirit like Lavigne. With a slight frame like hers, Lavigne might be swallowed up by the traditional big dress. We'd love to see her in a form-fitting mermaid look.
