Katy Perry & Frank Ocean Guested On John Mayer's New Album, 'Paradise Valley'

It's no secret that Katy Perry has been a muse to John Mayer. During his tour opener in June, he dedicated the last song of his set, "A Face To Call Home" off 2012's Born and Raised, to the singer. Describing her as his "face to call home," he added that "she was so patient" and she took the time "to continue to get to know me and love me" despite his vocal impairment.

It seems Perry is returning the favor by adding her vocals to Mayer's new album Paradise Valley, out Aug. 20. According to Rolling Stone, Perry will be featured on "a country-tinged mid-tempo track titled 'Who You Love'" while Frank Ocean will lend his voice on "Wildfire." That's also a returned favor of sorts, seeing as Mayer played guitar on Ocean's Channel Orange track "White."

Last month, Mayer released the lyric video for "Wildfire," sans Ocean, which showcases his familiar vocals alongside hand-clapped rhythms and electric guitar.
