The Make-Up Diaries | The Only 7 Brushes You Need

My girlfriend recently had me do her makeup for her engagement photos. Naturally I asked her to bring over her own makeup so I could see what brands she preferred and what colors she tended to gravitate toward. While looking through her makeup bag I noticed one major flaw, she didn't own a single makeup brush!

As a women who swears by makeup brushes to apply makeup I was shocked, and I wondered how she has gone her entire life without them. I ended up giving her some of my brushes I don't use anymore, but I could tell she really didn't know how to use any of them. I figured she is probably not the only one. To make it as simple as possible, I picked my top brushes that I couldn't live without. I'll describe the brush and try to explain their use in the most simple way possible.

Check out my top 7 brushes below!

A great way to get many uses out of your brushes is to buy a cleaner to use between colors or products.
