UNIONTOWN (KDKA) – A motorcyclist was arrested following a high-speed chase in Fayette County Sunday afternoon.

Initially, officers attempted to pull over John Burkland, 60, of Lamont Furnace, for a traffic violation. However, Burkland took off and led police on a chase through Uniontown City and onto Connellsville Street.READ MORE: Local Family to Appear on Family Feud on November 5!
During the chase, Burkland passed vehicles in excess of 120 mph. The chase ended when he crashed into a Pennsylvania State Police cruiser at the intersection of Connellsville Street and Starlite Road.

He is facing several charges including, fleeing or eluding police.
