Bloom went on to tell the audience about Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s struggle to network television. “We got six rejections in one day and we felt like crap, but we knew it was good.” She then thanked The CW’s Mark Pedowitz for taking a chance on their show and her co-creator, Aline Brosh McKenna, for seeing potential in her YouTube videos from two and a half years ago.
