2016 Summer Premieres

The CW Network has announced its summer premiere dates, including a new cycle of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US (July 11), with new host Alyson Hannigan, the return of WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? (May 23), and Cycle Three of magic series MASTERS OF ILLUSION (May 20).

Returning Monday, July 11 at 8 pm, PENN & TELLER: FOOL US is a one-hour competition series celebrating magic and featuring the legendary duo Penn & Teller.  On each episode of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US, aspiring magicians are invited to perform their best trick to try and fool the world-famous team of Penn & Teller.  Anyone who succeeds wins the right to perform with Penn & Teller in their celebrated show at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.  PENN & TELLER: FOOL US show repeats will continue to air on Fridays at 9p starting May 27.

WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? is back with all new episodes Monday, May 23 at 9pm.  Hosted by comedian Aisha Tyler, WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? features cast members Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady and Colin Mochrie, who must put their comedic skills to the test through a series of spontaneous improv games.

The third cycle of MASTERS OF ILLUSION premieres with back-to-back new episodes Friday, May 20 at 8pm and 8:30pm, followed by the season finale of THE ORIGINALS at 9pm.  Hosted by actor Dean Cain, MASTERS OF ILLUSION features amazing magic performed by cutting-edge illusionists and escape artists, and performers in each episode displaying skills ranging from perplexing interactive mind magic to hilarious comedy routines.

And as previously announced, the new limited-series CONTAINMENT premieres Tuesday, April 19 at 9pm and will continue its 13-episode run through the summer.  REIGN returns with new episodes Monday, April 25 at 8 pm.  The final season of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST debuts Thursday, June 2 at 9 pm.
