IKEA Restaurant's Grand Re-Opening Celebration
This Spring IKEA Pittsburgh in Robinson is celebrating! In order to meet the needs of their customers and perform new no-waste initiatives, IKEA Pittsburgh has remodeled their in-store restaurant and will be having a grand re-opening celebration April 29th through May 1st.
Below is the schedule of events including giveaways, food sampling, games, guest appearances and more! Don't miss out on this opportunity to celebrate with the only Swedish restaurant in Pittsburgh!
Friday April 29th
The First 100 parties in line in front of the IKEA Restaurant at 5pm receive a mystery envelope with a fun prize ranging from free ice cream to a $100 IKEA gift card! (must be 18 or older, limit 1 prize per household per day).
Between 5-8pm the restaurant will have a 3-course meatball special with your choice of meatball (traditional, chicken, or veggie) plus soup or salad and dessert for just $6.99 with your IKEA FAMILY card. During this time the restaurant will also be hosting a live musical performance by the Swedish accordion artist, Don Sandy.
Friday's in-store special? Between 5pm and 8pm shoppers can get the VIRUM 4 bottle wine rack for just $6.99 (reg. $12.99) with their IKEA FAMILY card, while supplies last (One day offer only; limit 2 per household).
Saturday April 30th
Doors open at 9:30am! The first 30 people in line at store opening will receive a FREE Swedish Food Market gift bag (value $45). The next 100 people in line at store opening will receive a mystery envelope with a prize ranging from free ice cream to a $100 IKEA gift card! (Must be 18 or older, limit 1 prize per household per day).
From 9:30am to 11:00am the restaurant will host a Swedish/American breakfast special for $1.40 (reg. $2.99) with your IKEA FAMILY card.
From 12pm-2pm you will be able to meet KDKA's John Kline, Abby Lawson from "Just a Girl and Her Blog," and Dana Vento from "Lavishly Living Outloud" while enjoying free food samples throughout the kitchen department.
At 2pm join Terri and David from "Between the Eats" to learn how to make some tasty dishes using items from the IKEA Swedish food market.
Saturday's in-store special? Between 10am to 9pm you can get the FARGRIK 18pc dinnerware set in purple, orange, green, blue or white for $19.99 (reg. $24.99) with your IKEA FAMILY card, while supplies last, limit 2 per household.
ALL DAY: receive a FREE blue bag with your IKEA FAMILY card, limit one per transaction in the cash lanes.
Sunday May 1st

The restaurant will host a $9.99 Brunch Buffet (red. $12.99) from 9:30am to 11:00am with your IKEA FAMILY card.
From 12pm-2pm you can meet Daisy from Pittsburgh's CW Green Team and spin the Pittsburgh's CW Prize Wheel for a chance to win prizes. Free food samples will also be available between 12pm-2pm in the kitchen department.
Sunday's all-day in-store offer? Get the ANNONS 5pc cookware set for $7.99 (Reg. $9.99) with your IKEA FAMILY card, while supplies last, limit 2 per household.
