Pilots: Katy Keen (Riverdale) and Jane the Virgin Spinoff, Nancy Drew & Lost Boys Series Receive Pilot Orders at The CW
We recently gave breaking news that the CW had given the green light for the Batwoman pilot starring Ruby Rose. And now we have scoop on FOUR other pilots that we hope to see real soon on the CW!
First comes a Riverdale spinoff - Katy Keene
Based on the Archie Comics character of the same name, Katy Keene is a musical comedy/drama that follows the classic fashion devotee and her friends as they head to New York City in an attempt to "make it on Broadway, on the runway and in the recording studio.

Another spinoff from Jane The Virgin - Jane The Novela.
A telenovela anthology series in the tradition of JANE THE VIRGIN, where each season is based on a different fictional novel "written by" Jane Villanueva and narrated by the author herself. The first installment takes place at a Napa Valley Vineyard, where family secrets (and family members) don't stay buried for long.
The network has also greenlit a pilot for a new, untitled series based on the popular teen detective book series Nancy Drew.
Set in the summer after high school graduation, 18-year-old Nancy Drew thought she'd be leaving her hometown for college. But when a family tragedy holds her back another year, she finds herself embroiled in a ghostly murder investigation - and along the way, uncover secrets that run deeper than she ever imagined.

Then, we have the Lost Boys pilot, which appears to follow the plot of the 1987 cult film.
After the sudden death of their father, two brothers move to Santa Carla with their mother, who hopes to start anew in the town where she grew up. But the brothers find themselves drawn deeper and deeper into the seductive world of Santa Carla's eternally beautiful and youthful undead.
